Visit Us

We understand that choosing the right school for your child can be a daunting process, but we are here to help.

We are thrilled to open our doors to prospective families for on-site visits so that you can get a true impression of life at Stroud School.

Our children are always keen to meet prospective families and chat about their experiences at school; we believe they are our best ambassadors! These tours give families the opportunity to come along and meet with some of our children and staff to find out what they love about being at Stroud.

We understand that choosing the right school for your child can be a daunting process, but we are here to help. We are opening our doors for a Whole School Open Morning for you and your family.

Whole School in Action Open Morning

We will be hosting a whole school open morning on Friday 10 May at 9.30am.  This will give families the opportunity to come along and meet with some of our children and staff to find out what they love about being at Stroud.

You will also have the chance to tour the school and our facilities, and for families with younger, non-school age children, you are welcome to bring them along and see some of our learning outside the classroom provision.

For Nursery and Reception:

Parents and children will be taken to our Early Years and Reception departments for a stay and play session and see our play areas. Jo Humphreys, Head of Early Years will be on hand to chat to parents.

For 7+ Entry:

For parents interested in our 7+ entry, this is a great opportunity for children in Years 1 and 2 to come along enjoy a bespoke tour of our classrooms and facilities, and meet some of our teaching staff and children.

For Years 4 – 6

Parents can enjoy seeing our children in action in these classrooms and see why our older children love being at Stroud. We are full in these year groups but places do occasionally come up, so we advise coming to visit us if you are interested in a place.

Arrival:

9.30am: Registration and refreshments.

9:50am: Rebecca Smith, Headmistress, will invite parents to join her in the main house where she will share a few introductory words. Our wonderful Year 6 pupils will then be your tour guides as you visit classrooms, meet teachers and pupils, and have the opportunity to ask lots of questions.

11.00am: All families are then invited back to the main house for refreshments and to chat through any further questions.
