Full and part-time Nursery places are available for 51 weeks of the year. Stroud School Ltd is a participant in the Government’s Early Years Education (EYE) Scheme. This entitles parents to claim up to 15 hours (for term-time attendance) or up to 11 hours (for 51-week attendance) per week of free early years education for six terms; commencing the term after the child reaches their third birthday, and up to and including the term in which they turn five. Stroud School Ltd does not participate in the 30 hours funded scheme.

Children can arrive at 7.45am for our Breakfast Club and after school care is available until 5.45pm (extra charges apply). In the case of after school care we would request at least 48 hours notice.

Fees are reviewed annually and parents are given a term’s notice of forthcoming increases.

For pupils who are not receiving any bursary support, we offer a sibling fee reduction of 5%.  This is awarded to the elder child(ren) and recognises siblings across both King Edward VI, Preparatory and King Edward VI School, Southampton.

A copy of the Early Years terms and conditions is available here.

Payment

Fees are payable in advance, together with extras incurred during the previous term. Invoices are payable on or before the first day of each term. Balances outstanding two weeks after the beginning of term are subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month. The preferred method for settlement of invoices is by direct debit.

Fees In Advance

We are offering a Fees in Advance Scheme where the cost of your child’s education at Stroud, King Edward VI School can be reduced by making an advanced lump sum payment dependent on the agreed number of terms to which the advance payment applies. If you are interested in finding out more about the scheme please email billing@kes.hants.sch.uk
