Full and part time Nursery places are available. Stroud School Ltd is a participant in the Government’s Early Years Education (EYE) Scheme. This entitles parents to claim up to fifteen hours per week of free early years education for six terms; commencing the term after the child reaches their third birthday, and up to and including the term in which they turn five.

Children can arrive at 7.45am for our Breakfast Club and after school care is available until 5.45pm (extra charges apply). In the case of after school care we would request at least 48 hours notice.

Fees are reviewed annually and parents are given a term’s notice of forthcoming increases.

A sibling fee discount of 5% is awarded to the elder child(ren) and recognises siblings across both Stroud and our senior school, King Edward VI School, Southampton.

A copy of the terms and conditions is available here.

Fees are payable in advance, together with extras incurred during the previous term. Invoices are payable on or before the first day of each term. Balances outstanding two weeks after the beginning of term are subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month. The preferred method for settlement of invoices is by direct debit.

One term’s notice, to be given no later than the first day of term, is required before the withdrawal of a child. One term’s fees is payable in lieu of the correct notice period.

Withdrawal at the end of Nursery: two terms written notice must be given ie by the start of the Spring Term, if  parents do not wish their child in Nursery to progress to Reception.
